For more than 20 years, the Ad Age Leading Women program (known as Women to Watch prior to 2020) has celebrated women who create opportunity and drive transformation within the industry. It’s been our privilege to watch these women continue to succeed; many of them are now industry icons in their own right. As with last year, we have expanded eligibility beyond the U.S. and Europe to reflect the more global and international scope of senior roles.
Introduced in 2022, the Rising Star program recognizes up-and-comers in the advertising, marketing and media world. We're excited to once again shine a light on those displaying the promise and potential of great leadership in the short time they have been in the industry.
Ad Age Leading Women and Rising Stars take risks and serve as catalysts for change. We look forward to honoring the excellence of our 2024 recipients. View all of our 2023 honorees.
Deadline
Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 5 p.m. ET
Leading Women and Rising Star honorees will be announced in May 2024 and celebrated at our event in August 2024. Tickets to the Leading Women event can be purchased at AdAge.com/LW2024.
LEADING WOMEN DETAILS
Ad Age Leading Women seeks to recognize women who are changing the industry anywhere in the world and making names for themselves at companies of all kinds—brands, agencies, technology providers or media platforms. Honorees are groundbreakers, forward thinkers and rainmakers in the marketing and advertising realm who are blazing trails with new solutions, standout creative work and business-building initiatives. They empower teams, build relationships, drive business results and advocate for diversity and inclusion.
All honorees are handpicked by the editorial staff at Ad Age. Winners will be notified in April and profiled in a feature honoring the Leading Women class of 2024 to be released in May.

FAQs
This is not a lifetime achievement award; specifically, we look for meaningful or measurable accomplishments within the past 12 months.
International entrants are accepted; all entries must be made in English. No team entries will be accepted. If you have more than one candidate, please submit them as a separate entry.
We are also looking for meaningful or measurable accomplishments within the past 12 months. And as with the Leading Women honor, women who reside and work anywhere in the world are eligible to submit for the Rising Star award; entries must be made in English.
Nominators may also submit supporting evidence, including case studies from work, creative pieces (images, videos) or links to product demos. Work supporting a candidate’s submission must have debuted and run within the past 12 months. Please also be judicious with your selections—it’s better to provide a shorter but dense picture of the entrant’s accomplishments than a laundry list.
Please note changes cannot be made once the final deadline has passed and judging has started.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please pay close attention to all the entry requirements as fees are non-refundable once entries are submitted.
Please keep in mind: Anything you submit, including results of the work, may be published. Do not submit anything you wish to withhold as private information or that you do not have permission to share publicly. This also includes ghost campaigns or imaginary or inflated revenue figures.
As part of Ad Age’s diversity efforts, we encourage all those entering to carefully consider those on your team from diverse backgrounds, as well as the work they have done, when you assess submissions. This is an opportunity to shine a light on all your talents, especially those who may have not received recognition in the past.
